Your weekend driving plans might need some adjusting.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that a handful of ramps leading to the highways, state routes and interstates surrounding Columbus will face close this weekend and beyond.
These closures come on top of already existing highway disruptions caused by ODOT’s Downtown Ramp Up project to revamp Interstate 70 and Interstate 71 around Columbus.

Here’s where you should be on the lookout for detours.
- The Gender Road northbound ramp to U.S. 33 westbound will close from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
- The detour for this closure is Gender Road to U.S. 33 eastbound to Dilley Road to U.S. 33 westbound.
- The Route 315 northbound ramp to Cannon Drive will close from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
- The detour for this closure is SR 315 northbound to Lane Avenue to Olentangy River Road to John Herrick Drive to Cannon Drive
- The Sullivant Avenue ramp to I-70 eastbound will close overnight (from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.) on Friday and Sunday.
- The detour for this closure is Sullivant Avenue to U.S. 62 to U.S. 40 to I-70
