Roosters just north of OSU closed for the rest of the year

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — The Roosters on the north side of The Ohio State University’s campus is closed for the rest of the year.

The wings restaurant, located at 3370 Olentangy River Road, has been temporarily closed since a fire broke out July 3. In a Facebook post Friday, the restaurant said the fire caused more damage than it initially seemed.

“Unfortunately, the fire that occurred caused a lot more damage than we originally thought,” the post read. “We are sad to say that we do not foresee opening for the remainder of the year.”

The Roosters is along the same portion of Olentangy River Road as the Shiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park, and just north many of the Ohio State athletic fields.
