It’s been a long journey, but this weekend Will Howard will take the field as the starting quarterback at THE Ohio State University. Howard took his time in the transfer portal this offseason, making his decision one of the last of the premier quarterback options on the market. He competed throughout the spring and summer with talented redshirt freshman Julian Sayin. Like Howard, Sayin transferred to Ohio State this offseason after not playing any snaps last year at Alabama. While Sayin lacked quality experience, head coach Ryan Day still took his time before announcing Howard as the starter on August 15.
