COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Columbus firefighter accused of rape has agreed to plead guilty to two different charges, according to the Fairfield County prosecuting attorney. Christopher Shaffer, 38, was originally charged with rape but agreed to plead guilty to one count of sexual battery and one count of gross sexual imposition – both are third-degree felonies.
