Ohio State reveals plans to build private club inside Ohio Stadium

Ohio State plans to construct a private club on the east side of Ohio Stadium with the aim of opening in 2026.

The club, which is to be known as the 1922 Club , a reference to the year of the dedication of the Horseshoe , will be located inside Gate 20 and contain a dining venue and lounge for members.

It will remain in operation outside of game days. The club’s restaurant is scheduled to be open Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

In a news release revealing the plans, the school described the club as a “unique way to experience Ohio State football game days and the university campus.”

The announcement did not include an estimated cost for the project.

Full memberships to the 1922 Club, which will feature access to the space on game days, is $4,500 for individuals. It would open three hours before kickoff and close an hour after the end of the contest. Social memberships, not including game days, are $1,000.

Both memberships also cover opportunities to host private events and attend members-only events during the year.
