Early this morning, the streets of Columbus witnessed the culmination of a fugitive pursuit when U.S. Marshals apprehended Dwayne Johnson, a suspect in a recent murder case. Johnson, identified by the Columbus Division of Police as the alleged perpetrator of the fatal shooting of Michael Simmons on August 3, was taken into custody without incident. The arrest was made at the intersection of Lockbourne Road and East Stewart Ave, marking the end of a manhunt that had been underway since Simmons was found dead in the 2600 Block of Noe Bixby Road.
