COLUMBUS, Ohio – Honor Flight Columbus is set to hit a major milestone next month. The organization announced it will fly its 10,000th veteran to Washington D.C. on Oct. 10. The nonprofit organization provides World War II and Vietnam War veterans with the opportunity to tour the nation’s capital and visit war memorials dedicated to their service and Arlington National Cemetery.
