Columbus police nonemergency line back in operation after being temporarily out of service

The Columbus Division of Police nonemergency phone line has been restored after being temporarily out of service.

Columbus Department of Public Safety spokesperson Glenn McEntyre confirmed Tuesday evening that the nonemergency line was operational again. All 911 services remained fully operational during the nonemergency phone line outage.

McEntyre said there was no immediate information available about the cause of the temporary outage.
