A new restaurant has opened in Columbus, Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH – A new Indian restaurant has come to the city.

Are you in the mood for Indian cuisine? If the answer is yes, you might want to check out the new restaurant Taj on Fifth, which is located in Columbus at 1021 W 5th Ave. According to the restaurant’s social media account, Taj opened its doors on September 18.

The new restaurant’s menu includes small plates like crispy kale chaat, Delhi hot wings (which are tossed in a spicy tamarind sauce), and salmon dippers, which are fried and lightly spiced salmon sticks that can be dipped into cilantro-mint and tamarind chutney. Small plates range from $12 to $17.

Also on the menu are tandoori dishes like jumbo shrimp ($24), chicken tikka ($18), achari paneer tikka ($19), and lamb seekh kebab ($22). In addition, Taj offers large plates such as grilled masala lamb chops ($25), chicken makhani ($21), shrimp saag ($24), saag paneer ($19), and more.

If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves mango lassi, sweet lassi, Taj spiced iced tea, Taj masala chai, soft drinks, and cocktails like a Taj old fashioned and sherry colada. If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant has desserts like gulab jamun tiramisu, rasmalai cake jar, and kulfi falooda.
