This is an updated version of Bucknuts’ story from July. Buckeye Nation remembers that early November Saturday as one of the most embarrassing losses in recent program history, falling 55-24 to an Iowa team that came into the game with a 5-3 record. The Scarlet and Gray could do little right at Kinnick Stadium, as quarterback J.T. Barrett threw four interceptions, including a pick six on the the game’s first play, and Hawkeye tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant combined for four touchdowns.
