Welcome to 2025! Columbus and central Ohio saw a multitude of entertainment options in the year that’s gone by, and now that the holidays have passed, local arts groups, performers, museums and other venues are gearing up for a happening new year.

Homegrown music takes center stage this weekend, with a tribute concert by Fleetwood Gold leading the pack. Other ear candy by local artists will span genres from country and jazz to early music and yacht rock.

If you’re a fan of classic illustrations, the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum will draw you in to see its two current exhibits — one devoted to the Golden Age of Comics, the other focused on the early work of New Yorker cartoonist Edward Koren.
