Columbus is a Midwest masterpiece, according to 2024’s best cities ranking.
The leading platform in tourism, real estate and economic development, Resonance Consultancy , released its annual report of America’s 100 Best Cities. For 2024, Columbus ranked higher than other major cities in Ohio as 34th best city in the U.S.
The ranking of top performing metro populations of 500,000 people or more was based on livability, lovability and prosperity.
According to Resonance, Columbus can thank the thriving arts scene , emerging tech industry and Ohio State graduates for its booming economy. The platform also attributed these successes to the Buckeye capital earning high rankings on Fortune 500 due to companies like Nationwide and L Brands.
But Columbus’ praise can’t be mentioned without highlighting its robust dining scene, historic sights and scenic parks. As Columbus claimed titles from Best New Restaurants in the nation and Best Crowd Free Destination lists in the world in 2024, the city’s food options are a main driving force.
