Newborn puppies rescued from freezing temperatures in Franklin County

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ten newborn puppies, dubbed the “Morse Road Miracle Pups,” were rescued after being abandoned in a box on the side of Morse Road in 19-degree temperatures, according to a Facebook post by the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center.

The shelter said the puppies were incredibly vulnerable at this stage of their lives.

Thanks to the quick actions of a compassionate Good Samaritan and the dedicated team at the shelter, the puppies are now safe, out of the cold, and have a fighting chance at life…
