COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tornado sirens across the state will be activated next week as part of a yearly drill.
The drill coincides with Severe Weather Awareness Week (March 16-22). The awareness week is scheduled for the third week of March each year.
At 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, local communities can participate in a statewide tornado drill and test their emergency and sheltering plans. Ohio counties can use this time to sound and test their outdoor warning sirens and mass notification systems…
