COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) – An Ohio grandmother was mauled to death by two pit bulls that were reportedly high on cocaine at the time.
The dog attack happened last October, but this week, NBC4 and PEOPLE reported that the woman’s family had now filed a lawsuit against the dogs’ owners, the town dog warden and the condo complex where the dogs’ owners resided at the time of the attack.
JoAnn Echelbarger, 73, was gardening when her neighbors’ pit bulls, Echo and Apollo, “attacked and dismembered her,” according to PEOPLE. Pathology reports showed that the dogs were found to have cocaine in their systems at the time of the incident, according to The Columbus Dispatch.…
