Columbus Commons unveils packed summer lineup with free events and concerts

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Commons is set to host over 200 events this summer, offering a variety of free activities and entertainment for all ages in Downtown Columbus. The lineup includes food trucks, fitness classes, family-friendly activities, and live music performances.

In addition to Nelly, you can see these acts:

  • Friday, May 23 | 6 pm – A Song Remains: A Night of Led Zeppelin with a Pink Floyd Tribute
  • Sunday, June 8 | 5 pm – Parker Louis with The Deeptones
  • Thursday, July 31 | 6 pm – Mojo x Yoncé A MojoFlo Beyoncé show with Eric Rollin & Friends
  • Thursday, August 14 | 6 pm – Zoo Trippin’, Paul Valdiviez & The Devious Boys, & The High Definitions
  • The Dead Revival Band & The Groove Brothers Band: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers BandFriday, August 29 | 6 pm
  • Sunday, August 31 | 6 pm – Shadowbox Live Performance of Rock This Way: A Music Tribute to Aerosmith and Van Halen
  • Friday, September 26 | 6 pm – The Navigators

“Eat local, eat often,” organizers said, encouraging visitors to enjoy breakfast and lunch from a rotating selection of food trucks. “Taco Tuesday” will take place on the first Tuesday of each month, featuring a variety of tacos and Latin food. They will also host “Breakfast at the Commons” on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. See the full food truck lineup here.

The Commons will also host “Free Play” sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Fitness enthusiasts can participate in free cardio and yoga classes, presented by UnitedHealthcare, every Tuesday and Wednesday from May 6 to September 29.
