Columbus man awaits second psychiatric evaluation in deadly workplace shooting case

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A decision on whether Bruce Foster III, charged in a deadly workplace shooting, is competent to stand trial is still not decided as a second psychiatric examination has been ordered. Foster is being held on a $20 million bond.

Foster, charged in last month’s shooting at the KDC warehouse in New Albany, which resulted in two deaths and four injuries, said little during a brief competency hearing.

His attorney, Brandon Shroy, commented on the situation, stating, “It’s extremely difficult for everybody affected, not just the defendant’s family.”…
