Former caregiver indicted in 2017 death of 17-month-old toddler

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Nearly eight years after the death of a toddler, her former caregiver was charged in connection with the child’s death.

Jennifer Bowen was indicted in February on charges including murder, felonious assault, endangering children, and involuntary manslaughter in the death of 17-month-old Juliana Beers.

ABC 6 is reaching out to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, asking why charges were filed so long after the child’s death, but officials are declining comment, saying the case is pending…
