COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A house in the North Linden area of northeast Columbus has been shut down by the city after numerous complaints related to drug activity.
The city attorney’s office announced Thursday that 1591 Aberdeen Avenue will be boarded up. Columbus police received nearly two dozen calls related to potential criminal activity at the house from April 2022 to March 2025.

Among the complaints from neighbors about the property included burglary, narcotics use, suspicious persons with firearms, fights, and a possible kidnapping. A search warrant was obtained by the city’s Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Task Force see what was inside the house.
Found inside during the March 13 search was $10,000 worth of fentanyl along with crack, meth, and pills that combine for a street value of $7,500. A preliminary hearing regarding further action is scheduled for April 24…
