CLEVELAND (WJW) — Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered U.S. and Ohio flags on public grounds throughout some of the state be flown at half-staff.
The move is meant to honor Tri-Community Fire District Firefighter John Saunders, who tragically died while fighting a fire in Willard, Ohio, Wednesday.

DeWine said the flags in around the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus and also Huron County should stay at half-staff until sunset of the day of Saunders’ funeral, which has not yet been announced.
“All other public buildings and grounds throughout the state may fly the flags of the United States and the state of Ohio at half-staff at their discretion for the same time period,” DeWine’s office said in a press release.
The coroner’s office has not yet released a cause of Saunders’ death…
