Farmer turns cornfield into runway to help pilot after he ran out of fuel, made emergency landing

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio — It’s not your average runway.

A small airplane made an emergency landing in a cornfield near Reynoldsburg after running out of fuel on Wednesday — and it was a local farmer who helped ensure a safe return to the skies.
