Ohio and Indiana Severe Storms: Hail, Winds Expected 10 AM through 8PM Tonight

Wilmington, OH – Severe storms are on track to impact Ohio and parts of Indiana today, with large hail and damaging winds threatening local areas. The National Weather Service issued a Level 2 severe weather warning for the region, warning of two rounds of severe conditions. The first, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., will bring the most immediate threat, followed by another round from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service Wilmington office, the main hazards include hail up to the size of golf balls and winds strong enough to cause damage. These storms will affect a wide portion of southern and southwestern Ohio, extending into southeast Indiana and northern Kentucky.

Local communities including Cincinnati, Dayton, and Marysville are particularly vulnerable. Drivers should be prepared for possible road damage and disruptions.
