Columbus Police are on the lookout and have turned to the public for help in tracking down a suspect involved in a recent bank robbery on South High Street. According to a social media post by the Columbus Division of Police, the theft occurred on Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 3:20 p.m., it was reported that a man walked into the bank, slipped a note to the teller, and strolled out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Described as a white male in his mid-forties to early fifties, the suspect is notably around 6 feet tall. Riding away from the scene on a black mountain bike, wearing a white V-neck and a tan jacket with conspicuous black stripes under the arms, the man paired his look with blue jeans and black shoes. Not to be forgotten, he shielded his identity with sunglasses and a dark baseball cap, carrying a dark camo backpack, in which, presumably, the stolen money was stashed…
