’70 percent water’: Drivers say contaminated fuel from gas station has damaged their cars

WILMINGTON, Ohio (WXIX/Gray News) – Several motorists in Ohio are seeking reimbursement for repair expenses after they say contaminated fuel forced them to tow and repair their vehicles.

John Toth said he was driving back to Toledo from Hillsboro when he stopped at the ARCO gas station on 7126 OH-73 on April 12.

As he was pumping gas into his vehicle, he noticed the 93 octane gas pump was “slower than normal.”…
