Two arrested after man found beaten to death west of Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – Two people are in jail on murder charges after deputies found a man beaten to death in Prairie Township, west of Columbus.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 6500 block of Hall Road on May 1, near Galloway Road in the Westland area. A man was found unresponsive with severe head injuries at the residence.

Medics from the local fire department pronounced a 62-year-old man dead at the scene at around 4:38 p.m. The man’s brother, who lives with the victim, was not present at the time of the incident, but returned to find the injured victim and called 911 immediately.

An investigation revealed that two individuals, Anthony Kuhn and Nichole Adkins, both 42, were staying on the property, in a camper nearby. Kuhn and Adkins, deputies say, entered the home and assaulted the victim while attempting to steal items from the home, with the man suffering from severe injuries to his head and upper body…
