COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – One person is recovering from severe injuries after being thrown from a car window after an altercation in east Columbus early Tuesday morning.
According to Columbus police, two individuals were having an argument in a parking lot of a BP gas station on East 5 th Avenue in the Shepard and St. Mary’s neighborhoods. One of the adults attempted to enter the other’s vehicle through the a window and the driver began to pull away in a light-colored sedan.

Police said as the car drove off, the adult victim was thrown from the vehicle and sustained serious physical injuries. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
The suspect drove westbound on East 5 th Avenue without stopping or calling for assistance. The Columbus Police AIU responded to the incident, which occurred at around 2 a.m. Tuesday remains under investigation…
