COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man charged in the death of a 6-year-old Columbus girl died by suicide on Tuesday, police say.
Blake Hutchinson, 24, was charged with murder and endangering children in connection to the death of Eva Bretz. His girlfriend and the mother of the young girl, 32-year-old Ashley Fagan, was also charged.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, Knox County SWAT personnel had been surveilling a home where they believed Hutchinson was staying. After Hutchinson was observed leaving the home, SWAT officers approached him, then he proceeded to kill himself…
