The lumbering upper-air low that hovered over the region since the weekend will finally lift into southeastern Canada.

Clouds will linger through the day, with a few breaks of sun, allowing temperatures to rebound to the seasonable low 70s. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight, with morning readings in the low 50s.

A cold front will slip south across Ohio Thursday, with the chance for spotty showers. Behind the front, a cool, dry northeast flow associated with high pressure building down across the Great Lakes will bring much nicer weather heading into the weekend. A storm moving northward near the East Coast will reinforce the cool northerly flow on Friday…
