Teen indicted for allegedly shooting at Columbus police in January faces 20 felony counts

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A teen accused of firing shots at four Columbus police officers in January was indicted Wednesday on nearly two dozen felony counts stemming from three separate incidents.

The most recent incident happened on Jan. 9 when 18-year-old Tamari Stroughter showed up at his girlfriend’s apartment and allegedly said he was going to kill her.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police received a 911 call from a young woman in the 1100 block of Lockbourne Road regarding then 17-year-old Stroughter, according to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Shayla Favor’s office…
