Kentucky Amish Man Charged With Murder of Ohio Woman Found Dead Alongside Her Goat

An Amish man from Kentucky, identified as Samuel Hochstetler, has been charged with the murder of 28-year-old Rosanna Kinsinger in an Ohio Amish community, according to a Cleveland19 report. The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office deemed Kinsinger’s death suspicious after her body was discovered on March 13 alongside her goat in her home.

Upon finding Kinsinger deceased, community member Mose Troyer contacted authorities, as recounted in an interview with WSAZ. After a thorough investigation, involving numerous interviews and search warrants, Hochstetler emerged as a person of interest and was subsequently arrested and charged on Monday. Initially inconclusive, the preliminary autopsy results leave more questions than answers regarding the circumstances of Kinsinger’s death, shared by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
