Jacob McDonald found guilty on 6 amended vehicular homicide charges in fatal I-70 bus crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jacob McDonald, the semitruck driver charged in the 2023 fatal crash in Licking County that killed six people, was found guilty on six amended charges of vehicular homicide on Friday.

Judge David Branstool found McDonald not guilty on 20 other charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide, because of the lack of evidence showing recklessness. The judge said that McDonald was criminally responsible in the crash.
