Three in custody after south Columbus crash where car occupants were ‘firing guns’

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A south Columbus roadway was closed for several hours Thursday night after a crash involving a vehicle where the occupants were allegedly “firing guns.”

A police dispatcher said a crash occurred near the intersection of State Route 104 and Frank Road at 5:45 p.m. Two people were injured in the crash and taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The car that allegedly caused the crash had people inside that were “firing guns”, according to a police dispatcher. Police have not found any victims of gunshots but did search the area of the crash and took three people into custody and are searching for two other individuals, per a police dispatcher.

State Route 104 west is was closed in both directions between Interstate 71 and US Route 23/High Street for several hours. The road has since reopened…
