Fur Baby Friday: Sandra and Jodi, two sweet Cocker Spaniels looking for a fresh start

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — This week’s Fur Baby Friday segment on Good Day Columbus introduced viewers to Sandra and Jodi, two gentle cocker spaniels from the Licking County Humane Society (LCHS) in Heath, Ohio.

Sandra is 5 years old and Jodi is 3. Both girls are retired breeding dogs who are now searching for a second chance at life in a loving, quiet home. While they’re still a bit shy and timid right now, their sweet personalities are already shining through. According to staff at LCHS, Sandra and Jodi get along well with everyone and would do best in a home that includes another dog to help them build confidence and feel secure.

“We think because of how well they do with each other that a good confident dog might actually bring them out of their shell teach them how to be a dog and let them trust humans maybe even a little bit more,” said Elycia Taylor with LCHS.
