In a Friday afternoon press release, the mayor of Columbus announced all services and functions will continue without interruption following the termination of the city’s city manager.
Mayor Skip Henderson stated in the presser that he wants to assure the citizens of Columbus that the city will continue to provide all services and functions without interruption.
“While this decision is unfortunate, a search for Mr. Hugley’s replacement began about two months ago in anticipation of his retirement at the end of 2025,” Mayor Henderson stated. “In the meantime, I will rely on our two experienced Deputy City Managers, who, under my supervision, will ensure a smooth continuation of services.”…
