COLUMBUS, Ohio — A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in west Columbus Friday afternoon, police said.
Just after 4 p.m., police said an adult was riding a bicycle heading east on West Broad Street at Jones Avenue, in the city’s Franklinton neighborhood. Meanwhile, a suspected adult in a white vehicle was also traveling eastbound on West Broad Street.
Witnesses told police the white vehicle drifted into the bicycle lane on West Broad Street and hit the adult on the bicycle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop, continued eastbound on Broad and turned south onto Martin Avenue…
