Woman indicted for allegedly helping man charged in shooting of 2 Mifflin Township officers evade capture

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A grand jury on Friday indicted a woman who allegedly helped a man accused of shooting two Mifflin Township police officers evade capture, according to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jayla Call, 31, was indicted on one count of obstructing justice and one count of tampering with evidence, prosecutors said. Watch previous coverage in the player above.

Daveonte Dixon allegedly shot two officers on May 28 after a traffic stop in Mifflin Township, just outside of Columbus city limits. Dixon was wanted for about two days before he was eventually found in Call’s apartment, prosecutors said…
