COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Police have apprehended Michael “Nikko” Burton, the third of four inmates who escaped from the Community Based Correction Facility (CBCF), a minimum-security prison, on May 23.
According to jail records, Burton was taken into custody at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Another escapee, Michael Norton, was captured on June 6, leaving only Mark Long still at large. The four escapees, identified through court documents as Jeremy Bowen, Burton, Long, and Norton, reportedly broke a window, scaled a wire fence, and fled towards Frebis Avenue.
