COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus Humane sees hundreds of animals come into the shelter from cruelty investigations each year. Their team investigates each case and often files charges against those involved.
Now, NBC4 is getting a look at one of the shelter’s latest cases and some of the roadblocks that come with these kinds of investigations.
The case for Kahphone is still under investigation, and the court date is set for the end of July. His case illustrates how, even when there is evidence of a crime, it’s not every case that someone can be held accountable.
