Makenzi Ridley’s legacy inspires young entrepreneurs amid unsolved murder case

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — More than four years after the tragic shooting death of 17-year-old Makenzi Ridley, her family continues to honor her memory while seeking justice.

Ridley was killed on June 24, 2021, shortly after graduating from Northland High School, during a gathering of teens outside the Far East Community Center.
