Columbus neighbor captures kids in danger, playing on unsecured city construction site

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A $30 million sewer line project in South Columbus has sparked safety concerns among residents, who say the construction site poses a danger to children. Tifani Kendrick, a local neighbor, described conditions in front of her home this week to ABC6 On Your Side Investigates.

“More equipment and vehicles to the front of the home,” she said. “Deep holes and none of those were covered or fenced off.”

Kendrick contacted ABC6 On Your Side to express her concerns about the unsecured construction zone on Linwood Avenue. She sent footage of children playing dangerously close to deep holes and on construction equipment to 311 last week…
