COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — An Ohio government agency has shut down part of its offices after bed bugs were found there.
According to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, bed bugs were found Tuesday by a bug-detecting dog at two work stations at the agency’s offices on West Town Street in Columbus. The areas were treated immediately and will be treated again next week; at that point, the bed bug-detecting dog will be brought back in to canvas the area, the agency said.

“The health and safety of our Ohio EPA employees is a top priority, and we take this matter seriously,” an EPA spokesperson said in a statement.
The infected work stations will remain closed to staff until the bed bugs are eradicated; the rest of the office will remain open…
