Columbus police officer injured in South Side crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A Columbus police officer is recovering after their cruiser was involved in a crash in the city’s South Side neighborhood Thursday.

According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the cruiser was t-boned by another car along Gilbert Street between Deshler and Thurman avenues at approximately 3:25 p.m.

The officer was taken to a local hospital in a stable condition. There is no word on whether other people involved in the crash were injured…
