COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two dogs were shot, one fatally, by law enforcement after they charged at officers responding to a reported domestic violence shooting in southeast Franklin County.
According to a statement from Madison Township police, officers were called to a reported domestic violence incident at the 3300 block of South Hamilton Road.

As law enforcement entered the house, two German Shepherds charged at them from a bedroom and responding officers shot them. One was killed and the other was wounded with the owners transporting the dog in an “unknown condition”, per police.
Madison Township police was also joined by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Obetz police for the response. The FCSO is investigating the incident…
