Man sentenced in altercation at Ohio supermarket

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – An Ohio man was sentenced last week in connection with an altercation involving a police officer.

James Leopardi, 38, was sentenced to three years of community control after pleading guilty to an amended charge of obstructing official business.

Leopardi was charged in January after police said he tried to headbutt an officer at a local Giant Eagle after store employees called police, saying Leopardi became belligerent and threatening over the sale of tea and the limited number of teas that customers were allowed to purchase…
