COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged on Friday for his alleged involvement in a 2020 cold case homicide.
Columbus Police (CPD) say Joseph Fleshman, 36, was arrested Friday in the 4400 block of Reinbeau Drive for his alleged involvement in a homicide case from July 2020. According to a release from CPD, a murder warrant was issued for Fleshman after their investigation identified him as the possible shooter.

On July 1, 2020, officers were called to the 60 block of North Wheatland Ave around 12:25 a.m. on a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Law enforcement located the 32-year-old victim, Deangelo Cummings, on the front porch. Cummings succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
