Young boy hospitalized after self-inflicted gunshot wound

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A young boy was hospitalized following a self-inflicted gunshot wound that took place early Saturday evening on the south side of Columbus, according to police.

Police dispatchers say the incident occurred in the 1600 block of Hanford Street. The juvenile was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is in stable condition.
