Man guilty in Columbus homicide gets community control

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man who was charged in a deadly north central Columbus shooting last year was sentenced Monday to five years of community control.

Kiante Lee pleaded guilty last month to one count of reckless homicide and two counts of attempted felonious assault, according to court records.

Lee was given credit for 476 days of jail time, according to a sentencing sheet.

Lee was one of two people arrested after an April 2024 shooting at an apartment complex along Brentnell Avenue in the Farmingham neighborhood. Watch previous coverage in the player above.
