Man Accused of Assaulting Teen After Alleged Abduction from Ohio; Juvenile Escapes in Forest County

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – An Elk County man is facing multiple charges after state police say he drove a 16-year-old girl from Ohio to Pennsylvania, refused to return her home, and physically assaulted her during a series of incidents that began on July 25.

According to court records and a criminal complaint filed by Trooper Jared Bender of the Marienville-based Pennsylvania State Police, 39-year-old Richard Wayne Will, of Benezette, Elk County, Pa., allegedly met the teen in Ohio after months of communication through the messaging app Discord.

The complaint states that Will took the teen to a Dave and Buster’s restaurant in Niles, Ohio, where he appeared to be intoxicated and began verbally arguing with her. She reportedly asked Will to take her home, but he refused and instead drove her into Pennsylvania…
