COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Three people were shot early Saturday morning during a large party on Riding Club Lane in East Columbus, according to Columbus Police. Authorities said all three victims are expected to survive, with two of them being juveniles.

Residents expressed shock over the incident, which left yellow crime scene tape across the area well into Sunday. Randy Cooper, who lives in the apartment complex next to the shooting, described the chaotic scene.
“I looked out the window and they was all through here,” Cooper said. “People were jumping gates, falling people were drinking so they were fumbling over each other. At least forty people—that’s just the ones I saw running.”
Cooper, who has lived in the area for four years, noted that while gunfire is not unusual, the scale of this incident was unprecedented. “It blew me. Like, Whitehall? It happened in Whitehall? Usually that stuff happens in rougher areas,” he said. “It surprised me, for real.”…
