COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A central Ohio woman is being sought for over a dozen thefts totaling nearly $100,000 in central Ohio.
According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, the Lululemon Organized Retail Crime Investigation Team began investigating Jankia Johnson for “high value thefts” at Lululemon stores found at Polaris Fashion Mall and Easton Town Center.

Crime Stoppers said that Johnson used large black bags to conceal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, earning her the nickname the “Black Bag Bandit.”
The investigation began in March and continues for crimes at both locations, in which investigators say she has stolen about $98,722 worth of items. Johnson, and several alleged accomplices, reportedly sell the items on social media platforms, including her Facebook account.
As of August, Johnson has allegedly committed 15 thefts, as well at other nearby stores, such as Bath & Body Works, Ulta Beauty, Carter’s and Old Navy. Police believe her total estimated theft amount is approaching $250,000 over the past six months…
